Pavel Dulguerov .
After graduating from the Medical School of the University of Geneva in 1983, Professor Pavel Dulguerov was involved in hearing research at the University of Florida (Gainesville) and at the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore). He accomplished his training in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) in Baltimore and at the University of California Los Angeles. Returning back to Geneva in 1992, he practiced at the ORL-HNS Service of the Geneva University Hospital for 25 years, as chief of Head & Neck Surgery and as a local and international authority in complex Head & Neck Surgery procedures.
Andrej Terzić .
PD Dr. Terzic finished his studies in medicine 1996 in Bern/Switzerland and in dentistry 2000 in Basel/Switzerland. After two initial years in general surgery and intensive care, he was trained in oral and maxillo-facial surgery in Zürich/Switzerland. He completed his skills in India and the UK before working for 10 years in the Geneva University Hospitals, the last 6 years as deputy head of the Oral and Maxillo-Facial division.
He is author of numerous scientific articles with a main focus on trauma and computer assisted surgery. He still is active as a lecturer for the University of Geneva.
Anna-Maria Machwirth .
Anna-Maria Machwirth has managed medical practices for 28 years, mainly in oncology practices. She has been collaborating with Professor Dulguerov for 14 years, leading the office of the Head & Neck Surgery Unit at the Geneva University Hospital. Beyond her competence and availability, patients generally appreciate the humane touch that she puts in every relationship.
Tiffany Baud .
Tiffany Baud has been practicing nursing for 14 years at the La Tour hospital in the services of Neurology and General Surgery. She has cared for acute and post-operative patients. Since the opening of the Center she has rapidly become proficient in audiological evaluation and other investigation techniques we use. In addition, she is familiar of the intricacies of tracheotomies and the problems of laryngectomy patients. Being attentionate and available, she puts all her competencies at the patient’s service.
