Pavel Dulguerov .
After graduating from the Medical School of the University of Geneva in 1983, Professor Pavel Dulguerov was involved in hearing research at the University of Florida (Gainesville) and at the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore). He accomplished his training in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) in Baltimore and at the University of California Los Angeles. Returning back to Geneva in 1992, he practiced at the ORL-HNS Service of the Geneva University Hospital for 25 years, as chief of Head & Neck Surgery and as a local and international authority in complex Head & Neck Surgery procedures.
Professor since 2007, he has taught his specialty to medical students, speech pathology students, as well as to the numerous residents, training at the ORL-HNS Department at HUG. He continues teaching at the Geneva University Medical School and at the ORL-HNS Department of the Geneva University Hospital.
Professor Dulguerov has edited two books, numerous chapters, and about 200 scientific articles spanning most of the Head & Neck domain. He is a reviewer for several renowned medical journals, in the Editorial Board of the Laryngoscope and Specialty Chief Editor in the ORL-HNS section of Frontiers in Surgery.
